What I’m experiencing with the Framework Laptop is that if it’s in mass storage mode, it’s being kicked out of that mode as if the physical connection was reset. If you select Cancel, it will just charge over USB.

I’m referring to the Framework Laptop being loaded to the BIOS, not the eReader. What do you mean by ‘disconnecting and reconnecting’ when it’s just the BIOS?
